During Royal Challengers Bangalore’s defeat to Punjab Kings on Friday, Rajat Patidar hit a huge six that ended up injuring an unlucky fan. On the ninth over of RCB’s 210 chase, Patidar hit Harpreet Brar over cow corner. The ball traveled a great distance and hit part of the stands under the railing and finally hit the fan. The camera turned and showed a lady in the stands grooming the older fan, who seemed to be uncomfortable.

Patidar’s six was a huge one at 102 yards. The righthander eventually made 26 out of 21 and was fired by Rahul Chahar.
RCB eventually made just 155/9 in response to PBKS’ 209/9, with Glenn Maxwell leading the way with 35.
Previously, a number of top quality carnage by Jonny Bairstow (66 out of 29) and a strong repulsion by Liam Livingstone (70 out of 42) brought Punjab Kings to a huge tally after they took the bat.
Bairstow’s brilliant start saw PBKS take the highest score of any team in the Powerplay this season.
He hit 59 out of 22 in the first six overs as PBKS raced to 83/1 in that span.
Wanindu Hasaranga struck twice for RCB, while Harshal Patel brought back numbers from 4/34, but their heroism wasn’t enough to keep Punjab down to a chaseable total.
PBKS rose to sixth on the IPL 2022 points table, with 12 points from 12 games so far.
RCB remained fourth after the game with 14 points from 13 games.
